The Crammer Pond, Devizes Wall refubishment project 2011

The Crammer Pond wall rebuilding project is nearing completion in August 2011. There have been problems with funding and St. James Church has finally raised their share. The project was delayed by nesting moorhens in the spring and now in August the problem of oil contamination has raised its financial head. Hopefully the Highways Department can be persuaded to pay to clear up the  cost of this road pollution.
